Boom Screens ("we", "our", "us") operates the web application at boomscreens.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our Service.

Account data: When you sign in with Google or create an account with email and password, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided by Google).
Content data: Screenshots, uploaded images, text layers, and design projects you create in the editor are stored to provide the Service.
Usage data: We collect anonymised event data (page views, feature usage, export counts) to understand how the Service is used and improve it.
Payment data: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain your account and projects
- To authenticate you securely via Firebase Auth (Google)
- To process AI localization requests using your text content
- To send transactional emails (password reset, receipts)
- To improve the Service through anonymised analytics
- To communicate product updates (you can opt out at any time)
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following sub-processors:
- Firebase / Google — authentication, database, and file storage
- Anthropic Claude — AI text localization processing
- Stripe — payment processing
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Each processes data only as necessary to provide their service to us.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability (export of your data)

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
